• MCF Defence Values Study Series ( 6 Articles )
  

  In this series we discover that the Australian Defence Force Values are as timeless as the Bible and a guide for Christian living.  Adherence to the Defence Values is something expected of all members of the ADF and Department of Defence. Professionalism, Integrity, Courage, Loyalty, Teamwork, and Innovation are core characteristics of the culture of Defence. It should come as no surprise to anyone that these values are also inherently Christian values. This series is based upon articles written by senior ADF officers and clergy and originally appeared in Crossfire, MCF’s magazine.  They explain why these six biblical values are not only important to our military life but essential to our Christian walk. MCF groups are encouraged to use the six essays as topics for study and discussion during meetings and study groups.

  The MCF Hard Questions Study series, a series of studies specifically designed for military Christians in the ADF to discover what God has to say about those "hard questions" of killing, drinking, swearing, and living a Christian life in the military.

  Each Study is stand alone, or can be done in sequence (16 weeks if you meet once/week)

• Battlesmart Seminar Resources ( 5 Articles )
  

  Each year MCF hosts the Battlesmart Seminar.

  The seminar encourages and equips military Christians to prepare for and succeed in spiritual battles. The inaugral Battlesmart Seminar included guest speakers Lieutenant General David Hurley, the Vice Chief of the Defence Force, and Brigadier (Retd) Jim Wallace, Managing Director of the Australian Christian Lobby.

  A DVD of the Battlesmart seminars are available free through the MCF office, and study guides to assist groups discuss the issues presented are below.

  The following reviews have been produced by MCF member CAPT Katie Chapman. They discuss some books, DVDs and study courses that are useful tools for Christians to use for personal growth and evangelism. The tools are also available for borrowing from the MCF office along with other useful books and resources.
