A Moment to Reflect ....
a prayer for everyone in MCF in my final Grapevine:
To the saints and faithful brothers and sisters in Christ in MCF-A:
Grace to you and peace from God our Father.
In my prayers for you I always thank God,
the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
for I have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus
and of the love that you have for all the saints,
because of the hope laid up for you in heaven.
You have heard of this hope before in the word of the truth,
the gospel that has come to you.
Just as it is bearing fruit and growing in the whole world,
so it has been bearing fruit among yourselves
from the day you heard it
and truly comprehended the grace of God.
You then, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus;
and what you have heard from me through many witnesses
entrust to faithful people who will be able to teach others as well.
Share in suffering like a good soldier (sailor, airman or airwoman) of Christ Jesus.
Think over what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in all things.

- This edition focuses on the MCF Seminar Faith Under Fire with articles from the Seminar along with personal stories of people coping when their faith has been tested.
- There is a Christmas message from GEN Hurley and a report from the Defence Christians Dinner where GEN Hurley and Mrs Hurley were guests of honour.
- Notice of the National Day of Prayer, 24 Mar 12, and the AMCF South Pacific Conference, 1-4 Oct 12 is also included.
MCF Seminar Faith Under Fire DVDs: available at no cost through the MCF Office .
NB The DVDs may be played through Windows Media Player.
Updated Deployment Packs
The Deployment Handbook is now available through the MCF Office or the website. This is designed to accompany the Gospel of John (copies provided by the Bible Society) which is included in the Deployment Pack.
Crossfire 23
Due mid 2012 will focus on supporting others.
Some suggestions to think about now for your local area :
- contact DCO for the dates of your local Community Expo/Welcome Day and provide a MCF stall with information on local MCF contacts and resources.
- sponsor an ADFA cadet or midshipman (Canberra area) - see attached DEFGRAM 733/2011
