Exploring Christianity
Is all this God stuff more than stained-glass windows and spinkling water on the colours? Lot's of people suspect there is something more to the universe than atoms bouncing around, but is "religion" really an answer, or the answer?

Not been to church in a while? Got this far and want to know more about being a Christian?
It may surprise you to know that Christianity is not about being religious. “Religious” just means doing something regularly. You can religiously go to happy hours in the Mess for instance. Some people even think being a Christian is a “racial” thing like being of European or Asian heritage.
Rather, Christianity is about a personal relationship with the maker of our universe. It is about admitting we have fallen short of the standards he has set in this world, and seeking God’s mercy so that we can. The Bible tells us that we need only 'knock on the door' of the Lord and He will 'open it'. How do you do this? Go and see a Chaplain. Walk up to him or her and say, “Hey Padre, I stumbled onto the MCF website yesterday and was hoping you could tell me a bit about this Christian thing. I've got some questions...” Or go and see someone you know that practices their Christian faith, perhaps the person who told you about this website. Whatever you do don’t wait until it is too late. In the military we know that in battle indecision can be fatal. Don't let indecision about life have an eternal cost.
